GUARDIAN PROGRESSION SYSTEM

Dive into our revolutionary new Guardian Progression System! This new system invites players to select a Guardian, each equipped with distinctive special abilities and a curated set of initial items that reflect their unique traits.

Experience the thrill from the get-go in our alpha version, where every Guardian kicks off at level 60, unlocking their ultimate potential. Here's where strategy comes to life; distribute points across four specialized skill trees allowing for customized gameplay. However, it's essential to note that when the full version of the Guardian system is released, all progression will be reset, offering a fresh start for all players.

In this first release, players will have access to our three starting Guardians. However, we have exciting plans for the future, including the introduction of more captivating characters with specialized skill trees.

The fun doesn’t stop there; players will also have the option to utilize the NFT versions of their Gotchies stored in their wallets, adding another layer of depth and personalization to the experience.

THE KNIGHT

As a formidable Fighter Guardian, The Knight is celebrated for his resilience on the battlefield. His skill trees enhance four key items:

• Brick Shield: Strengthens durability by absorbing more damage, reducing cooldown time, enhancing reflection capabilities, and extending block duration.

• Pin Wheel: Boosts its potential by inflicting greater damage, extending range, providing armor during usage, reducing cooldown, and even reflecting damage back to attackers.

• Chainmail: Enhances defensive capabilities with increased armor, improved damage reflection, additional HP, and the ability to sacrifice a level of Chainmail to dodge fatal blows.

• Zapshell: Boosts offensive prowess with increased damage, additional zap blasts, a wider range, and the ability to mirror the stunned status.

SOLDIER OF FORTUNE

As a strategic Economy Guardian, the Soldier of Fortune specializes in maximizing resource accumulation through ready bonuses and substantial end-of-round rewards. His skill trees are meticulously designed to enhance these elements:

• Ready Bonus: Remains effective for longer periods, offering the option to garner more resources from the ready bonus and overall income, and even boosts the starting bank balance.

• End-of-Round Reward: Significantly increased, with leaderboard standings after each round having an even greater impact.

Additionally, two specific items are tailored to complement the Soldier of Fortune's strategies:

• Midas Bag: Enhances resource generation each round, facilitating an even greater wealth accumulation.

• Chainmail: Chainmail provides protection for the Gotchi and offers opportunities to increase resource gain when struck.

THE FARMER

Specializing in tower enhancement, The Farmer excels in fortifying defenses and optimizing resource management, uniquely empowered by an item called Apple Juice. His skill trees are dedicated to improving towers through various means:

• Cost Reduction: Lowers the cost of towers, accompanied by the option to reduce the cooldown of Apple Juice.

• Profitable Sales: Makes selling towers more lucrative than before, provides the option to earn more income from purchasing or upgrading towers, and increases the Apple Juice damage buff.

• Range and Speed: Expands tower range, accelerates tower construction, and extends the duration of Apple Juice's effects.

An additional item complements The Farmer's arsenal:

• Target Dummy: Boosts the effectiveness of Target Dummies by increasing their strength, extending their range, and simplifying their acquisition.

By leveraging these Guardian abilities and skill trees, players can tailor their strategies to suit their preferred playstyles and dominate the battlefield.

NEW ITEMS

BRICK SHIELD

The Brick Shield provides reliable defense by absorbing a set amount of damage for a limited time. Enhance its effectiveness by leveling it up to increase its duration, reduce its cooldown, and amplify the damage it can absorb. This versatile shield offers essential protection in the throes of battle, enabling players to mitigate damage and maintain their Guardians' stamina. It is available in the shop for all Guardians.

ZAPSHELL

Zapshell helps the Aavegotchi strike back, inflicting damage and stunning enemies that manage to strike. Upgrade it to boost the damage inflicted, enhance the likelihood of zapping attackers, and prolong the duration enemies remain stunned. It is accessible in the shop for all Guardians.

APPLE JUICE

Exclusive to The Farmer, Apple Juice significantly enhances tower capabilities. When activated, The Farmer sprays the selected tower with delicious apple juice, increasing its damage output (warning: it does not work on Bulls!). This advantage allows The Farmer to maximize tower efficiency, leaving the competition behind. This item is not available in the shop.

NEW TOWER

SUS NEST

The SUS Nest, an ancient tree, serves as a sanctuary for nurturing SUS butterflies. Attracted to its serene presence, these magical creatures prefer to relax on the flowers. Yet, should enemies threaten their tranquil home, the SUS butterflies take flight, convincing their adversaries to harm themselves.

Adorably treacherous, the SUS Nest introduces a special upgradeable feature. Growing crystals imbue the SUS butterflies with more energy, allowing them to attack longer.

• 1st Upgrade: Increase SUS Butterfly duration by 4 seconds

• 2nd Upgrade: Increase SUS Butterfly duration by an additional 4 seconds.

• 3rd Upgrade: Increase SUS Butterfly duration by yet another 4 seconds.

Embrace the power of the SUS Nest and witness the mesmerizing allure of the SUS butterflies as they defend their home against intruders with cunning persuasion.

BALANCE CHANGES

DIRE TIRE

To enhance the Dire Tire's agility at higher levels, we've increased its initial attack range and speed, ensuring it reaches its target more reliably.

• Acquisition Range Increase: Now escalates with levels from 12 to 20.

• Speed Increase: Advances from a constant 15 to a range of 15 to 20 by level 6.

FUNGUY

• Attack Cooldown Reduction: Adjusted from 0.75 to a scale from 0.75 to 0.5, accelerating its attack speed at advanced levels.

LICKER

• Cost and HP Reduction: Licker's initial cost and HP have been reduced from 1000 to 500, enhancing battlefield accessibility and longevity.

• Attack Cooldown Removal: Licker's attack cooldown, previously 1.5 seconds, has been removed. This change, in harmony with Licker's attack animation, offers seamless gameplay without diminishing effectiveness.

• Visual Enhancement: Upgrading Licker now visually alters its brain wires, giving a clearer indication of its progression.

STEADY LAD

• Attack Cooldown Improved: Transitioned from a uniform 2.5 seconds to a range of 2.5 to 0.5 seconds over six levels, making it significantly more formidable at higher levels (barring the presence of Bulls 😉).

IMPROVEMENTS

RECONNECT

Introducing the Reconnect feature allows players to seamlessly return to the game in case of connection issues.

If you encounter any connectivity problems during gameplay, the Reconnect feature allows players to rejoin the match. However, players must return to the game before the match concludes.

With the Reconnect feature, players can rest assured that temporary disruptions won't permanently disrupt their gaming experience.
